Finally Got out ............

I got out early today for the first time since about late October of last year.  My brother-in-law has a home in RI that is circa 1760.
I have picked at it from time to time over the years. I never used the F75 in his yard before and thought I'd give it a try.

I wandered into the woods behind his home for a couple of hours and seemed to do okay.
I got some junk iron, a musket ball, buckle, a broken cameo style cuff link and a large copper void of any detail (any that these eyes can see).
The copper was the second one I found in those woods and the results were the same as with the first. Absolutely no detail.

All in all it was a good start to the year.......... HH Rich

 PS: I am saving the dated coins for April...............

Great stuff Rich!  Every time I see one of your posts I am jealous of how kind your soil is down there to relics.  Our soil is hard on the old stuff.

Great finds Rich and glad to see you getting out, wev'e been lucky here the past few weeks we're getting out earlier than usual. To bad about your LC but hey I haven't even found one. :)) :)) :)) :))

Nice, Rich. That copper looks like the ones I was finding at the end of the year last year.

That really is the way of most coppers i pull out of the soil but that broken cameo was a nice piece when lost but now it is a super sweet  old relic ;D good job rich :thumbs:

Rich...shame about that copper...those can be aggravating finding and wondering what they might have been... :scratch: But I bet it did feel GREAT to get back out there swinging and finding stuff, didn;t it?  :thumbs:
